NOTICE  TO  SHIPPERS  AND  CUSTOMERS

 

Operational Flow Order (OFO) Due to Excess Linepack Drafting

 

CUSTOMER SPECIFIC – SIERRA PACIFIC POWER COMPANY

 

                                                    April 11, 2008

 

 

Paiute’s linepack is very low due to Sierra Pacific Power Company taking more than their scheduled volumes. Effective immediately and until further notice, Paiute is issuing an Operational Flow Order for overruns in accordance with Section 5.2(a) of the General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) of Paiute’s tariff.  This is in conjunction with the Operational Flow Order for overruns in accordance with Section 5.2(b) of the General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) of Paiute’s tariff that is in effect until further notice.

 

Accordingly, pursuant to Section 5.2.(a) of the GT&C, Paiute is requiring Sierra Pacific to limit its actual takes so as not to exceed its Daily Scheduled Quantity. Volumes taken by Sierra Pacific in excess of it's Daily Scheduled Quantity shall constitute an Unauthorized Daily Overrun and will be subject to the penalties described in Section 5.2.(a)(3) of the GT&C.

 

The following information is provided in accordance with Section 4.6(f) of the GT&C:

 

1. Time OFO issued:          3:00p.m. PCT April 11, 2008

2. Time OFO effective:       Immediately

3. Duration of OFO:            Until further notice

4. Extent of the OFO:       Specific to Sierra Pacific

5. Reason for the OFO:    Excess linepack drafting

6. Requested action:         Limit actual takes to not exceed Daily Scheduled Quantities

7. Other Terms:                None

8. Time of compliance:    Must commence immediately
