NOTICE TO SHIPPERS AND CUSTOMERS
LOW LINEPACK OFO LIFTED
Sunday, April
13, 2008
Effective immediately, Paiute
is lifting the Operational Flow Order for Sierra Pacific for overruns issued on
April 11, 2008. The penalty provisions of Section 5.2(a) will
not be in effect beginning with the gas day of April 13, 2008.
Although linepack has been stabilized, Paiute urges you to continue to
schedule your supply so that sufficient gas is being delivered to Paiute to
cover gas being taken off the system.
Paiute issued the OFO on April 11,
2008 because Sierra
Pacific had been taking more gas than their scheduled volumes, thereby causing
a serious reduction in Paiute’s line pack that threatened system operations.
Paiute’s line pack has now been sufficiently replenished as a result of
imbalance makeups, at least to the extent that Paiute can lift the OFO.
However, as mentioned above, Paiute urges customers to attempt to avoid overpulls
for the foreseeable future.
Any changes in the above information
will be passed along to Paiute’s customers immediately. Any questions regarding this information may
be directed to Mark Anderson, Paiute Pipeline Scheduling, (702) 876-7332.
