NOTICE TO SHIPPERS AND CUSTOMERS

 

LOW LINEPACK OFO LIFTED

 

May 24, 2008

Effective immediately, Paiute is lifting the Operational Flow Order which was issued on May 23, 2008.  The penalty provisions of Section 5.2(a) will not be in effect beginning with the gas day of May 24, 2008.  Although linepack has been stabilized, Paiute urges you to continue to schedule your supply so that sufficient gas is being delivered to Paiute to cover gas being taken off the system.

 

Paiute issued the OFO on May 23, 2008 because customers and receiving parties had been taking more gas than scheduled, thereby causing a serious reduction in Paiute’s line pack that threatened system operations.  Paiute’s line pack has now been stabilized to the extent that Paiute can lift the OFO.  However, as mentioned above, Paiute urges customers to attempt to avoid overpulls for the foreseeable future.
